The Leona Tate Foundation for Change has begun construction in partnership with Alembic Community Developers to transform the historic landmark McDonogh No. 19 Elementary School Building into the TEP Interpretive Center for Civil & Human Rights. This building will forever be a beacon of hope, cultural & historic preservation and economic impact in the city of New Orleans, Louisiana.
On November 1960, four courageous 6 year old girls change America to create a unified public school system for educational equity in Deepa South. What they did by integrating those two Elementary Schools sparked integration on all levels of society. They led the peaceful protest to defy the Jim Crow laws that enforced segregation.

MAKE THE MOST OF YOUR IRA
Although the recently passed CARES ACT has eliminated the Required Minimum Distribution for the 2020 tax year, you still have an opportunity to reduce your taxable income by donating to Leona Tate Foundation for Change directly from your IRA.
To qualify, you just need to be 70½ as of Dec. 31, 2019, or have reached age 72 after that date.
